First off, I know this palette isn't new to the market. And I know I'm not the first person to do a swatch/review of this. But I just want to share my thoughts about it and this is a free country and this is my blog, So I can post anything I want here. lol. Kidding.
So my ever loving husband got me this Fashion 21 48 piece eyeshadow palette as a gift for mother's day (2015). He doesn't know anything about makeup nor makeup brands. He said he just asked the sales lady at the mall for an eyeshadow palette and this is what she gave him. (End of back story)
Here are the colors. The palette has both matte and shimmery eyeshadows ranging from bright to dark and neutral to colorful. The only thing I don't appreciate is that the colors doesn't come with names.
So on to the swatches.
For the first two rows, we have reds, pinks, whites, and oranges.
For the next rows, There are green and blue shades.
The third row has the purple shades and coming in are the brown shades.
Now the neutral shades are on the last two rows. These are the shades we love to use for simple and/or everyday makeup looks.
This palette has it all, matte and shimmery, colors and neutrals. I love this. It's also perfect for beginners because it has just the right amount of pigmentation and will not overwhelm those that are just newbies when it comes to applying eyeshadows. However, If you're not a beginner and are looking for a bright and pigmented eyeshadow, Don't be sad. This is very buildable and can achieve the high pigmentation you are looking for.
The price is also perfect for beginners and stay-at-home moms like me, who are looking for a good quality makeup at a very affordable price. This is only P349 at any department store that has a fashion21 counter.
